I’m happy to say that my second weekly Guest Reader will be Charles Waters. Charles has taken me up on my invitation to readers to provide a poem and picture to share with others. He has already sent them both so look for Charles next week. I’m still having trouble figuring out how to post the photographs, but Kathy will come to my rescue. I have faith!
This week has passed quickly. I’ve written two poems for the new book I’m working on with Dan Burr (who illustrated PIRATES), finished a 300-word article, and started my “song” poem to post here in the next few days.
My thanks to Amy Ludwig VanDerwater for being my first summer Guest Reader. Judging by your comments, you agree when I say that she was a great first guest.
So how about the rest of you? There are a lot of poets who come by my blog now and then and all of you have at least one poem you would like to share with the rest of us. So send me your poem and a picture and I’ll get you on the summer schedule. It’s that simple. Also, don’t forget that I’m also looking for your articles up to 500 words on some aspect of children’s literature. This way you can be on twice. Let me hear from you.
