GOOSE LAKE is up and running

Hi everyone,

As of a few minutes ago, GOOSE LAKE, my newly released eBook of nature poems, is in 3rd place among today’s top sellers in children’s poetry and ranks #36 among books of poetry for adults. For those of you who have purchased a copy, thank you!

Veda Boyd Jones has posted a lovely review on Amazon.com. Veda, many thanks for giving the new collection such a great send-off!

I thank Robyn Hood Black for posting an interview with me on her splendid blog Friday. If you’d like to read it and explore Robyn’s place, here’s the link.

    • Dear Cory,

Thank you for reading the interview. Robyn asked good questions and I enjoyed wrestling with my responses. I hope you like Goose Lake equally well.

  4. Hello Lovers of Goose Lake!
I have been tortured for the last 2 days By Amazon who offered me a free Kindle app to read the book on a Mac. Barnes & Noble showed no listing so I couldn’t use my Nook app. Then this AM, when trying to find the Kindle app, I stumbled on B&N and there was the Goose Lake for Nook. So Don and I have already enjoyed the book on both the iPad and the Color Nook! And we have escaped the glitches on the Kindle!
The past 2 weeks have been a wonderful seminar with poets, calligraphers, librarians, technicians, artists and resort managers. The on-line connections and in-person exchanges have made every day illuminating!
I even got the app: “If Poems” up and working on my iPad. It has marvelous audio!!!
Thank you poetry group aka “stanza” (Oh, I love “a stanza of poets.” The word starts slow, appears to pause, just standing there, and then suddenly leaps forward with pizazz and affirmation (akin to that of “Huzzah!”, with bells on its toes) out into the world, not alone but in the company of other lines.

    Right?

    • Hi Jeanne,

May there be many lovers of Goose Lake! I’m certainly glad that you are one and I appreciate your comments. I’m sorry that you had problems getting it downloaded. I’m still so new to this that I’m learning something each day.

I’m pleased to see that Goose Lake has been holding its own in ranking near the top. I invite comments at Amazon and/or B&N sites. My hope is that good reviews and comments encourage others to see what it’s all about.

      David
