  1. Dear David:
Isn’t it wonderfully expanding, looking at an archival artifact fifty years later,
especially when it is thousands of years old.
Today we are experiencing a hurricane, accompanied by Twitter, News feeds and thousands of generator ads. We used to hold onto each other.
Now we mourn the loss of power to connect across the country. How grandiose our expectations have become!
    Humbly,
    Jeanne

    • Dear Jeanne,

Well said. Thank you for your thoughtful comments. We’ve become so accustomed to reaching out across the world from our keyboards that the temporary loss of that privilege is one of our main fears.

      David
