Saturday Sandy and I took a 3-mile natural walk in Topsail Florida State Park. Among the highlights was a series of fresh water dune lakes, a rarity anywhere in the world. As we were standing on the shore of one of them, Campbell Lake, I saw how light was dancing on the water in a certain area of the lake and snapped this picture. I did not see the light streaming down through a break in the clouds. I only saw that later when I reviewed the picture. I’d been imagining the sparkling, dancing water as the spirit of the lake. Hmmm.
