  1. Whoa. Such wonderful suggestions! I’m smiling as I remember the old Yul Brynner movie. Creative names for such a wee bit of business. I think this is probably a squirrel tree frog whose real name is Hyla squirella. But surely we can improve on THAT!

    • The green reminded me of the aurora borealis (which i’ve only seen in photos) so it seemed to me that aurora frogialis would be a good name for it. No one else has suggested it, so maybe it doesn’t look like that at all if you can really see it.
