My poem for Word of the Month Poetry Challenge

Hi everyone,

To the Tree in my Front Yard

You live life,
you stretch time,
endure long
beyond your prime.

You stretch time,
you live life,
survive winter’s
icy knife.

You live life,
you stretch time,
out of tune,
out of rhyme.

One more season,
one more climb,
you live life,
you stretch time.
