Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received the news that CRAWLY SCHOOL FOR BUGS has been selected to represent Missouri at the National Book Fair in Washington D.C. in September. I feel honored and very grateful.

The selection was made by Missouri’s Center for the Book, which also picked my book PIRATES to represent Missouri at the 2013 National Book Fair.

I’m looking for a list of previous honorees. Cheryl Harness, I know you’re on the list and I think Judy Young is also. I’d like to post the whole list when I find it.

  1. A Happy Dance for David

    One, two, shuffle, kick
And then a leap will do the trick.
Hands in the air, stomp and turn.
A happy dance is easy to learn!

    Rah! Rah! Rah!

    • Hey, friend of mine. My bugs are headed to Washington. Who knew? I bet they’ll meet a lot of cousins there. Love

  3. That’s awesome, David! I love this new book, but Pirates is still a big favorite. Congratulations! And Happy Father’s Day, too!
