My Word of the Month poem for December

Hi everyone,

I thought I’d try a tanka for my December poem.

Feeding the Night Yellow

Bright yolk disappears,
swallowed by the turn of time,
paints hasty farewell.

Its memory must warm us,
stars make pale markers till dawn.

  1. Ph.D. Chairmanship

    Upon becoming a doctoral fellow
quite an accomplishment for you see mellow
    academics fosters my peers breed
cause learning dominates our curious need
preparing for ceremony what to wear
dyed the bit of yellow out of my hair
    and accepted my assignment chair
