Good day for signing

Hi everyone,

The signing went well yesterday at Sundog Books in Seaside. They sold out of A PLACE TO START A FAMILY and NOW YOU SEE THEM, NOW YOU DON’T and had only four copies left of CRAWLY SCHOOL FOR BUGS.

One highlight of the signing was meeting Pat Nesbitt from Bowling Green, Kentucky, who enjoys my blog and was kind enough to buy several books for family and friends. I also met two couples from Springfield so we enjoyed our visit.

My thanks to the folks at Sundog Books for hosting me. That is one busy store!

It has been too long. Unjani? Ngiyakukhumbula!
I’m so glad to hear from you again.
      Love you

  1. David, I am so happy that you did so well and even happier to hear about a successful book store. Connie Currie

    • Thank you, Connie. It is a good store and I always enjoy signing there. Sitting on the porch provides a great view of people coming and going. I love it.

  2. How marvelous! So happy for you. Love the fact that so many little ones now have such treasures. When I was little that was always the best gift.

    • Thanks so much. It’s certainly fun watching kids choose which book(s) they want their parents to buy. Yesterday I asked a kindergarten boy if he would like to hear me read a poem to him. He said, “No.” His chagrined mother said he was into reading on his own and was not interested in having someone else do the reading.
