A good trip. As we head home I have a lot to think about after my visits with editors this week. Too early to say if a book will come from these chats, but I have some ideas growing from them and am eager to get back in the wheel to see what might happen.
We saw three plays — MEAN GIRLS, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, and FROM AWAY — all good to fantastic, ate well, saw a few sights, shopped, picnicked in Bryant Park, and I enjoyed signing books in stock at the public library and two books stores. We were also treated on three occasions to the generous hospitality of people in New York City. This is certainly not the first time that’s happened.
Homeward bound. Onward and upward!
