I’m looking ahead at what I hope to get done in the coming weeks. I’m well under way with a new manuscript of poems that has been in the works for some time. Barring the unforeseen, I think I can finish it by January 21.
The next day if I get back to revising the desert story, I should have it done by February 25. This assumes no major interruptions, an unlikely scenario, but at least this gives me an outline of what I’ll be working on from now until AFTER DARK comes out on February 25. I’ll need some time then to parade around the house thumping my chest, but after that I can finally get to some of the new ideas waiting their turn. Now it’s time to climb down from this rock and get back in the wheel.
