My Word of the Month poem

Hi everyone,

Sorry it has taken me so long to post a Word of the Month poem for April. Here it is. Hope it amuses you.

THE MORAL IS…

Bobby Porter

Found a quarter

Shining in the street.

Bobby said,

“I think I orter

Buy a bite to eat.”

But then he sorter

Thought he orter

Save the shiny

Pretty quarter

To buy a better treat.

Bobby Porter

With his quarter

Fell upon his seat.

He hit so hard

It made him shorter,

Lost his quarter

On the street.

The moral is,

You really orter

Never save

A shiny quarter.

Go buy something sweet.
