I learned yesterday that A PLACE TO START A FAMILY was chosen by Bank Street College for its 2019 list of Best Books of the Year published in 2018.

Congratulations to my wonderful artist partner on this book, Giles Laroche, and thank you to Charlesbridge and my gifted editor, Karen Boss. Yay for the team!
