Remembering who we are and what we stand for

Hi everyone,

Watched this Civil War reenactment in Astoria, Oregon yesterday and was reminded once more of that sad and awful time in our history. I’m grateful to the folks who work hard to preserve glimpses of our past so that we will never forget the period when we struggled to determine who we were as a nation and what we would believe in from then on.
