CONTESTS:
–The NWA Poetry contest will began July 1 with an October 1 deadline.
–August 30, 2010 is the deadline for The Writers’ Workshop Short Fiction Contest. For rules and entry go to www.twwoa.org
–August 6 is the deadline for the Manchester Poetry Prize. First Prize is £10.000. Queries regarding the contest should be directed to James Draper at j.draper@mmu.ac.uk  Online entries may be submitted at www.manchesterwritingcompetition.co.uk
CONFERENCES/WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS:
