Today we’re celebrating National Pen Pal Day. Did you know that? I didn’t, but my pen pal, EILEEN SPINELLI, pointed it out to me. I think it’s a splendid idea. So I say let’s go with PAL for this month’s Word of the Month word. I think it’s an excellent word that’s brim-full of stories. Ready, set, go!
