A Goose Lake Father’s Day

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I had a fine time with my family around me for Father’s Day. The weather cooperated so we were able to eat outside by the lake and stay there until evening when four toads tuned up and fireflies danced to their music across the lawn. The swans swam up the the bank.

The geese made a long, slow parade across the lake, a few of them muttering instructions to the rest to keep the ranks straight.

TIM and JEFF did the grill duties while I sat on a lounge and felt pampered.

SANDY and ROBIN did the inside jobs and KRIS helped carry. Burgers and brats and family beside Goose Lake. Can you beat that? I don’t think so.

It’s a Weber!

Hi everyone,

A long time ago the wolf became a dog and the dog became a hairless Chihuahua. Just so, the bold hunter of old discovered fire and fire led him to beaming with joy to receive this splendid gift for Father’s Day. With love and thanks to Robin, Tim, Jeff, and Jennifer. Throwing spears never suited me anyway.
