An Anthology by Matt Forrest Esenwine

Hi everyone,

I’ve received the happy news that MATT FORREST ESENWINE’s new anthology will be titled A Universe of Rainbows: Multi-Colored Poems for a Multi-Colored World, illustrated by the award-winning JAMEY CRISTOPH, and published by Eerdmans Books for Young Readers in Spring 2025. I’m glad to have a poem in the group.

Says Matt about the collection, “These 22 poems by 19 poets aren’t just about the rainbows you see after a rainfall. There are actually rainbows all around us – from the Peacock Mantis Shrimp to Vinicunca Mountain, from the wings of a fruit fly to the Rainbow Nebula of Orion. Lee (Bennett Hopkins) was going to contribute to this anthology, before he passed away in 2019, so the book will be dedicated to him.”
