I met Ken in 2011 when he attended a poetry workshop I conducted for Highlights Foundation near Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Later on I visited his students in Phoenix and even put on the gloves with him.

When Ken’s son died, his grief eventually led him into helping others with their own losses of loved ones. That’s what his column today is about. I hope you will share the link with friends and family members who will also benefit from that Ken has to tell us. Thank you, Ken Slesarik.
