Two new guest columnists added

Hi eveyone,

I am happy to announce that you will soon be meeting two more poets from other lands. VIRGINIA LOWE is a specialist on the importance of using poetry with children from infancy on. She lives in Australia.

Dr. Lowe has lectured at universities (English and Children’s Literature); been a children’s librarian in public libraries; school librarian; and for the last twenty years has run a manuscript assessment agency Create a Kid’s Book.

BRIAN MOSES lives in the U.K, where he taught for 13 years and has been a professional writer in schools, libraries, theatres and festivals since 1988. He has given over 3000 performances of his poetry and percussion show and run countless writing workshops. Over 1 million of his poetry books and anthologies have been sold by Macmillan Children’s Books. He was commissioned by CBBC to write a poem for the Queen’s 80th birthday which was then performed live on air. He was invited by Prince Charles to speak at Prince’s Summer School for teachers, at Cambridge University in 2007. Brian has published 220 books.

I already have Virginia’s essay in hand and look forward to seeing what Brian will send along soon. Stand by.
