Heather Lende featured on Poetry from Daily Life

Hi everyone,

Today I get to introduce HEATHER LENDE, who has recently served Alaska as its Writer Laureate. I haven’t done my homework to know of any other state selects a writer for its laureate, but I can tell you Heather sets the bar high. Here’s the link to her guest column. Happy birthday, Jeff Harrison

Hi everyone,

Today is our son’s birthday. We celebrated with him shortly before he left after a visit here to return to Portland, but we’re celebrating again across the miles today. We have so many good memories. Except for during the Chiefs game (sorry Jeff) we’ll be thinking about him a lot today.
